About the Author
David Royse is a professor in the College of Social Work at the University of Kentucky. He earned his Ph.D. from Ohio State University in 1980. He has written several books, including two for Cengage Learning: RESEARCH METHODS IN SOCIAL WORK, Sixth Edition, and PROGRAM EVALUATION: AN INTRODUCTION TO AN EVIDENCE-BASED APPROACH, Sixth Edition.

Right on time

I needed this book for my class. I went to the college book store and found that the copies the book store had were far more expensive and the time it took to get the book would have put me behind on homework. But amazon got me the book and I was able to get my hoemwork done in time. As far as the content of the book is concerened...Well, it is a text book. However, this text book is easier to read and understand than the other text book we had. David Royse breaks the information down in to smaller portions to help a beginning social work student understand the big picture.
